1. Billy Wilder
2. Charlie Chaplin
3. Woody Allen
4. Cameron Crowe
5. Guiseppe Tornatore
My Top 5 actors are:

I'd love you to answer these too on your blogs and post them back to me :)
Great answers, I like nearly all of those
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have a think about mine, I always struggle narrowing down my favourites to just five or so, but if I can do it without driving myself insane I'll post them
Of course! cinema paradiso. I did a partial reply on my blog cos I know nothing much about films! I cant wait to get out of Sheffield. It's absolutely boring..
ReplyDeleteWow, it would be difficult for me to decide on five movies... sense I don't really watch movies that often. I tend to watch romantic movies, or movies that are so stupid they're funny more than anything. Scary movies usually just make me laugh. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I've accepted your challenge! And not that I'm one to complain...but no top five actresses?
ReplyDeleteYes, where are the actresses.
ReplyDeleteRe: The actresses; see my next blog entry where I attempt to address this.
ReplyDeleteMy top films:
ReplyDelete1. Y Tu Mama Tambien
2. Running Man
3. Heavenly Creatures
4. The Green Mile
5. Shawshank Redemption
6. The Life of David Gale.
Most watched films:
1. My Life Without Me
2. Van Wilder
3. 28 Days Later/ 28 Weeks Later
4. Blades of Glory
5. Metropolis
Director's/Writers so far...
1. Alfonso Cuaron
2. Buster Keaton
3. Philip K. Dick (ok not strictly a screenwriter but I like the adaptations)
4. Fernando Meirelles
5. Pedro Almodovar
Top 5 actors are:
1. Arnold Schwarzenegger
2. Ian McKellen
3. Angelina Jolie (for the early days)
4. Gael Garcia Bernal
5. Tom Hanks
6. Alan Rickman
7. Maggie Smith
Top 5 places to set a movie:
1. London
2. New York
3. Badlands/Black Hills (known for westerns/North by Northwest & Dances With Wolves - I'm not mentioning the Nicholas Cage shite)
4. Anywhere where the landscape does the work without overuse of mise-en-scene. Nature does wonderous things
5. Somewhere out of reach in my own realm e.g. space or miles under the sea.
