I don't really care how much the latest superhero film took at the box office, although I'd probably know if you asked me. When I watch a film the main thing I am looking for is a good story. I like it when I look up at the big screen and can see a part of me staring back at me. More than anything, I am still looking for Jimmy Stewart and Jack Lemmon and Billy Wilder in every film I see.
I'm shocked that my VHS copy still works. I was 4 when this came out, and I went through a phase where I watched Home Alone and The Addams Family multiple times a day.
In the grand tradition of fictional Kevins, Kevin McCalister was kind of a douche (see Kevin Arnold). But I do appreciate his taste in flannel apparel.
Christmas is not Christmas without Kevin McCalister.
