I don't really care how much the latest superhero film took at the box office, although I'd probably know if you asked me. When I watch a film the main thing I am looking for is a good story. I like it when I look up at the big screen and can see a part of me staring back at me. More than anything, I am still looking for Jimmy Stewart and Jack Lemmon and Billy Wilder in every film I see.
I want to know if you think there has ever been a perfect trilogy = 3 good-great movies in a franchise in any genre. Because I thought the new batman was heading for that route but ultimately failed.
In reply to Escarindito I immediately thought of Sergio Leone's western trilogy A Fistful Of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More and The Good The Bad And The Ugly. As for what to blog about? You know I never get tired of hearing your thoughts on Frankie And Johnny, You've Got Mail and One Fine Day.
I want to know what the heck you're working on! (And what you have in the past... with a little more specificity.) Come on, tell us Kid! ;)

ReplyDeleteCould you make up a riddle, about your real name?
ReplyDeleteTell us something about yourself xD
ReplyDeleteThank you for your interest in me personally, I appreciate it -- but this is an anonymous blog, and that is the only way I can enjoy this.
ReplyDeleteBut don't you take a risk with that distance?

You might have already done so, but what was the movie that made you fall in love with movies?
